Oil radiator is quite standard, oil heats up and keeps warmer for longe distributing heat.

We have single glazing that was dripping, with clingfilm it's dry.

I use an oil radiator in my son's room on a tado plug timer to warm it, but it doesn't deal with humidity really. His room is north facing, external walls and gets cold.
Running a dehumidifier in your room will warm it a little, but not much but maybe you don't need to warm it, will deal with humidity though.
Is the condensation just on windows, could do the cling film?

Since putting the cling film on my windows we don't have condensation on them. I'm sure it now just condenses on a wall or something worse. But we can see outside!

Or just do the same with some fabric insulation, if you have some spare.

A photo would help. But personally if it's just a small brick hole I'd fill it with expanding foam. I'd properly get a bin bagpush that into the hole somewhat cut to size, then fill into the bin bag. But mixing mortar and shoving a brick in isn't hard, and no one will see th ebad job if it's up high.
