That's a really high heat loss for M2. You need to insulated etc as I'm sure you've been told. But yeah that's mad.
Our quote is 20k eur for a Vaillant aerotherm 15k. We have heat loss around 13kw but also have 250m2. And our place has very little insulation.
I'll be doing it as I should get 50% grant.

Give them a call and see if this is suitable or what they recommend. Generally technical departments know their stuff.

Hey I have a dumb question I can find the answer too, if you might oblige one, I think the answer is they are they are basically the same. But what's the different between an unvented direct cylinder (electric only) and an immersion heater. Here we don't see ones like the gadhill, but two ports on bottom and no need for expansion vessel. The gedhill seems a bit fancier with two elements.

To be fair it's a mitsubishi body and some even have Mitsubishi engines so it's a mix match of good quality.
Westfalia t4s are silly money here, it's painful to spend 9000 euro on a 200,000 km 2000 westfalia. A Hyundai H1 will be a bit cheaper but less used and bit newer.
Second hand prices hurt here.

yes I'm adverse to internal insulation too, because I don't want to loose space. I don't see why you'd move away from gas in your instance and if you want to be more green then go about it by reducing your gas needs via insulation and radiators etc.
