Its true you always hit something, but its harder to get accurate so its easier for gears to crunch around and change as they are closer, i wouldnt like to go more than 8 speed frictioned...
I've used 9 speed friction bar ends for ages with no hassle at all, I'd try on my 10 speed as well if bar end changers weren't so expensive!

I never got a chance to phone him this week, however the spare part that was damaged arrived yesterday so thought I'd remind him this morning via email that we'd agreed he would give me a small refund for supplying me with a frame of a lesser value than the advert. He replied later today and refunded the amount, one month after I raised the issue with him! So all in all, he has some nice stuff, in my case he sent it out exactly when he said he would, but if it goes tits up don't expect it to be resolved in a hurry!

I bought a frame off of him two weeks ago - it still hasn't arrived, and I've emailed him a few times asking if it has been dispatched and if there is a tracking number; he hasn't got back to me. Has anyone heard anything from him?
I've found he is very slow to get back to you once you have paid for something but at least he has got back to me, (usually after a week) Yodel seems to be pretty bad for deliveries, maybe the problem is at their end?

Just got a Raleigh Nova on Gumtree for a tenner! I almost went past it as it was poorly titled in the ad, thankfully they had a photo so I had a closer look. Plenty of surface rust but it looks solid, and it was great fun to ride home on!
