Thanks for all of the interest everyone. Now sold to @jerrysk8
Donation to the forum made :) -
Heya @jerrysk8 - the brakes work well for rod brakes... if they've not used them before (or want something super safe) then this is not really the way to go. If you fancied checking them out I am around until about 16:30 today and from 9:30 - 16:00 tomorrow. I could do pics of the pads and rims specifically if you like (but that only shows you what they look like, rather than how they work :)
@S70N3Y - noted thanks.
I would note at this point that I would really like to move the bike on this week if possible. I'm heading to Bristol after work on Friday, so will be easier if we could do before that.

Hello All
I am clearing out some bits and sadly no longer have room for a lovely old ladies bike - Elswick Hopper (small frame size, I can measure if people are interested).
Original thread here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/190201
This has been my occasional sunny summer day bike (my partner preferred her new Pashley Princess, go figure). So has seen about 100miles of nice riding since I bought her.
Since I bought her I have:
- Had a basket holder manufactured, so the basket could take the weight of my bag.
- Replaced both tyres with new
- Full service and lube when I bought her (she is super not-squeaky for a bike of her age)
I am asking for SOLD for £70 which is less than I paid. Hopefully she will go to a nice new family.
I have tried to upload a bunch of pics to give you an idea... the saddle is a brooks, although the tag came off. The condition is probably best observed and is (I think) normal for a bike of this age.
Feel free to PM with questions or for more pics.
Pickup from Barbican/ St. Pauls
Thanks

Hi All
I'm clearing out bits from work as I am changing jobs. Some things need to go...
**My Charge Plug frame, forks, headset, bb and wire brush tool = SOLD
Bought here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/203239
I have since tidied up the frame and put in a new headset (FSA Pig). The frame cleans up nicely with the brush... and a bit of oil keeps it from rusting... I haven't done anything to it (ridden or polished) for a couple of years, and that is how it looks.
The bb is the one I got from Tash, and it is ok...
I've mangled the fork a bit by leaning against the wall, but it is cosmetic only.
Size... I am rubbish at size, but I'm 5' 7" and it think it's a hair too large for me (but I like small frames)... I think it's a medium, but according to Tash, and possibly the bb stamp its a Small. Go figure.
Pickup from St. Pauls/ Barbican area.
Hopefully this will make someone a nice base for a project.
Cheers

thanks @PhilDAS :( ...the not so fun side of ebay. I wish I had seen it sooner.

Hey all - I'd be interested to hear your opinions... I picked up Cannondale CAAD X 105 2014 off ebay with the idea of using the parts to build up another frame. The Cannondale frame is 56" is on the big side for me. Anyhow, only when I stripped it down and cleaned it up did I find a pretty serious ding. It looks like the chain tried to assault the frame. I am now wondering if it would be irresponsible to sell it on... I don't want anyone dying and have no idea if there is any market for dingy frames.... Thanks in advance.
