Does anyone have recommendations for a wheelbuilder for cargo bike wheels?
I have ordered a replacement rear hub from Enviolo (as my Nuvinci N380 has done its time) - went for the EXTREME hub: https://orders.enviolo.com/collections/hubs
I have personally enjoyed my time with the N380 - not sure why it gets a lot of stick from everyone.I need a strong 36h rim 26"and a the strong Sapin spokes.
I have used this company to get spokes in the past but it's a bit of a pain to send it all there & back tbh:

I have been in touch with Green Cell who provide a range of batteries for e-bikes.
They have a solution for my MPFDRIVE e-assist (since BMZ no longer produces the batteries & the dead stocks are about £800 a pop).
MPFDRIVE themselves are proposing an alternative at 599€ (see data attached).
GC are after the equivalent of £200 for a new battery, the mount and the charger - so worth a punt in my situation

Hi all,
I was looking from a cheap road wheelset on eBay and this popped up at £15 with extremely poor photos.
Contacted the seller who reassured me all was good witht the wheels, some "mild" wear.Cycled about 7 miles to pick them up in the dark just to realise the following morning that the wheels are 100% shot. The kind of wheels you leave on the street corner for the metal recyclers to pick up.
The braking surface is way past it and unsafe to ride.
Rear Shimano hub is missing some hardware and is seized.Perhaps good for the rim tap or for the axles / parts off the freehub?
I will drop off at the recycling centre on Saturday if not takers.
Pick up from SE14

Some progress on @cake old Pinarello.
Cables & pedals added.Fitting a 3 × 9 groupset I had lying around unfortunately the wheelset is a Shimano 105 on Araya clinchers. The RH-1055 is 7 speed only, original HyperGlide so can't take a 9 speed cassette.
I'll be looking for a replacement wheelset unless someone wants to swap.

Beryl Bikes is looking for someone to support their e-Cargo Bikeshare Scheme in East London.
You don't need to be a fully trained mechanic reading through the description and you need to
Title is Mobile Operations Support & Bike "Mechanic" - £25K PA.

Looks absolutely dreamy but would be about £1,500 for the hub / Gates carrier so difficult to justify for a 6 years old Douze @amey

Averaging 1x task per month on @cake 's old Pinarello.
Since my last update, I trued a wheelset & fitted tyres to it. This then allowed me to put the bike on the floor and remove the ITA BB cups.

There's an Urban Arrow that's always parked in front of Oru Space in East Dulwich.
I cycled past yesterday and the rear frame had been bent around 25 degrees. Looks like the rear frame was hit by a vehicle while parked on the Sheffield stands.
Anyone here?

I don't have the equipment / knowledge unfortunately.
The battery was 3 years old when I stopped using it so would have done circa 500 charging cycles.
The battery does take the charge and shows the 5 LED out 5 on its display.
Then once placed on the bike, the battery shows one single flashing LED as if it has ran out of battery.
A jolt of e-assist comes up when you turn on/off the display.
I can reset the battery itself by continuously pressing the button on the battery (the "E" on the image above),
Then sometime it all works fine, sometimes it keeps happening.I bought a new battery and that resolved the problem.
Now we're 3 years on and my "new" battery is doing the same thing so I want to get the first one refreshed.
I received a quote from the first Google hit but they were after £375 to re-cell it when I paid 380€ for the replacement battery in mid 2019 so it doesn't even seem worth re-celling it...

London Green Cycles has a £95 "cargo bike flat fee" so that's the basic inconvenience fee before they start charging for stuff
