As promised, I've just measured the frame again (several times!) using the non-drive side for better accuracy. It is 56cm centre of BB to top of seat tube (which pokes up about 5mm more at front and rear as a bit of design bling) and 56cm centre of seat tube to centre of head tube measured along the top tube. In other words it is 56cm square!

**** NOW SOLD ****
Having spent a long time sourcing this frame last year, I've very reluctantly decided I have to sell the bike as it is just that bit too small for me and I need the money to fund a pair of track racing wheels - oh well, at least the poor old bike has had a nice quiet winter hanging in my loft, not getting wet and cold, so it shouldn't be feeling too unloved!!
I bought the frame last year for £550 from this forum and it was worth every penny of that. It has been refinished in a gorgeous metallic coppery bronze colour (before I bought it) and was literally just like new. Since building it, I've probably ridden it about 20 times - it really is a special ride and I believe is made from a combination of 531 and SLX tubing. Masi was (and probably still is!) one of the very best of the best Italian makers and this frame really shows that in both beauty and riding.
I can only find one very small chip near the rear dropout.
I had the wheels custom built for me - they are Dura Ace hubs with Ambrosio Nemesis "La Reine du Nord" tubular rims, DT Swiss Revolution spokes and gold nipples. The front is radially laced, the rear is cross laced on the drive side and radially on the non-drive side. Again, these wheels have only been ridden about 20 times and are beautiful to ride and spin for ever!
I fitted a modern Ultegra 6600 groupset with a 53/39 chainset and 11-28 cassette. I also have the original Campag Masi pantographed downtube shifters (see http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=sm5xtt&s=5 for a picture of them on the frame) which are included in the sale.
Other details - Vittoria tubulars in great condition, Campag Record headset, 3TTT stem and 3TTT ErgoPower Due handlebars, Shimano 600 aero seatpost and Rolls saddle..
The frame measure 56 cm centre to top of seat tube and 56 cm centre to centre top tube.
I would prefer to sell the complete bike, but if someone wants to buy the frame, I will sell that and then sell the wheels and (probably!) the groupset separately. I won't sell either the wheels or the groupset etc separately before selling the frame.
I would like £860 for the complete bike, or £450 for the frame, £220 for the wheels (with tubs and a spare new tub), £180 for the groupset and then I'll have to think about stem, seatpost, saddle and handlebars!
I live in North Holmwood, Dorking and you are most welcome to come and have a leer - alternatively, I could meet a serious buyer at Herne Hill on Sunday mornings or meet halfway in somewhere like New Malden, Streatham etc...
Here's a picture of the complete bike (pedals not included in sale)...

I'm selling my Look 464 Medium size track bike frame - or the complete bike as shown (but with a different saddle and without pedals). I have ridden this for one season at Herne Hill and it has never been dropped, crashed or damaged in any way. It is a brilliant frame, but just doesn't fit my bizarre short legged, long torsoed frame! I now need to fund a new frame for racing...
The frame measures 56cm from centre of BB to top of seat tube and 56.5cm centre to centre of top tube.
The bike is located in Dorking and you are very welcome to come and look at it, or if you are definitely interested in buying either the bike or the frame, I can bring it to my Sunday morning training session at Herne Hill.
This frame is now sold.
The complete bike has a Thomson elite seatpost, Token Chrome track bars, campag record pista chainset (48T chainring) with 165 cranks and the wheels were handbuilt for me at Corridori cycles with Dura Ace high flange NJS track hubs, campag record pave tubular rims and DT Swiss revolution spokes. The tyres are Vittoria Pista Evo CS 22mm tubulars, properly glued on with very little wear at all. Needless to say the wheels have never been ridden anywhere other than on the track and have never seen a brake.
Basically, the whole bike is not far off just like new with very high quality components!
I rode this bike in the latter half of the Wednesday night track league last season, so you may have seen it there...
Please PM me with any questions or to buy!
If someone buys the frame, I may sell the wheels separately - so keep an eye open if you would be interested in the wheels.

Up for sale (I have too many cameras and don't get to use them...) is a very nice condition Black OM2 MD with 50mm f1.8 lens - also in very good condition with a lens hood and a reasonable Brown ever ready case.
Also included is a T32 flash and case which offers auto control through the camera, a virtually mint 70-150 Olympus f4 zoom lens and case and a Teleplus 2x macro teleconverter which will enable the 50mm lens to focus down to a 1:1 reproduction ratio.
Unfortunately I live in Dorking these days and rarely get up to London - happy to post and postage cost included in the price of £70
Please PM me for details or offers![/url]

Just in case anyone else gets here to solve the same issue - I solved it yesterday with some ease in the end!
Bought a decent quality 6 inch nail, filed off the sharp point to give a surface to hammer, carefully filed down the diameter of the head until it just fitted through the axle hole in the bearing then dropped my home made tool (the nail!) through the bearing narrow end first (the head won't fit through the bore of the hub in the middle).
Then turned the wheel over and angled the nail so that the head was now pressing against the inner face of the bearing and gave it a few taps with a hammer. Then started rotating the nail round (still at an angle) and tapping it - repeated until the bearing dropped out (need to rotate the nail tool so that bearing gets pressed out all round, otherwise you might jam it in catastrophically at an angle...).
Hope that makes sense if anyone reads this!
Cost me 10p for my home made bearing drift tool and took 20 minutes to make it and get both bearings out - great result and tons of self satisfied feelings!
