To avoid confusion the ITM bars for sale are the black ones with black bar tape - not the carbon wrapped ones with the new campag levers on - I'll delete that picture to avoid confusion....sorry!

I'm almost certainly about to sell my 2010 56cm Langster (which is in bits at the moment) either in pieces (preferably) or rebuilt into a complete bike with either original parts or upgraded...need to do lots of photos first I guess...

I went and was disappointed to only buy 4 inner tubes and some bar tape! I bought a lovely Roberts track frame there on Good Friday though...

Now I'm confused even more - why carbon suited brake blocks as they are aluminium rims according to the campag website? Please excuse the dopey newbie questions!!

2 questions if I may - tubs or clinchers? are they ok for brakes (look like they don't have braking surfaces machined on...)?

is the front fork drilled for a brake (almost looks like a brake bridge on the rear)?

aarrgghh, I'm desperately trying to persuade myself I can't have this! But, I ride with top of saddle 75 cm from centre of BB and an effective top tube length of 56cm is about ideal - is this a good match?

I'll have it for £60 (it is available new from Velodrome shop for £89.99) - deal?

happily, local bike shop cannibalised a half link from a bit of half link chain and problem is sorted (although chain is a little noisy - I'll see how it settles down and maybe start again if it doesn't bed down nicely!)

I'll have to investigate half link chains then - for tonight, I've given up on the bike...tomorrow is another day!

I suspect I may be making a dumb-arsed mistake..I finished up doing it in the dark in the garden by light pollution light...

shower was warm enough for a flaccid reading of 6 chain links... is it possible that 46/18 is just the wrong size for my bike geometry to get decent chain tension and I may need to get a 19 or 20t ring to make it work?

i"m going for a shower to measure my dick...

mostly i should have stuck to the wusst 42/18 I had instead of putting on a 46 ring...

2 links at .5 inch each = 1 inch = 2.54cm more or less, i.e. as much as the dropout movement or a hair more...

well that explains everything - rear brake limits travel in dropouts a bit too...guess it'll be tail between legs to bike shop for help!!

so in effect, every cut removes 2 links...I think!
