Have moved to Brighton, starting to explore the downs a bit so fairly up and down, not been too muddy so far but after something with a bit more grip than i have currently
Thanks for the info. Thinking on road with knobblies on a mountain bike to tourer conversion.
Yeah realise it's all subjective. Don't mind the cold really but 5 days of downpour off the back of NYE would be tough! Will turn tail if it seems too risky/too much of a slog.
Great photos!
Might be in Glasgow for NYE and was thinking about combining the trip with a few days riding. So was wondering if anyone could tell me:
A) will the weather be too grim to be enjoyable?
B) any recommendations for routes for a fairly sedate 5 day ride? Will have a car so can start where ever
There are two different standards (JIS and ISO) but you will probably get away with it. Definitely worth checking if something from the parts bin fits.
Sweden? Route's still pretty flexible so let me know if there's anything I should definitely check out. Would only really be able to cut across the north though I guess.
Can't seem to get embedding google maps to work. Anyway was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about the route, whether I was missing out on anything cool or anything to avoid. Cheers

Any tips on shoe trees? Worth using them? Will plastic do or best off with cedar?
