Annoyingly I've got something else on that night.
On the plus side, a competitor may already know the answer to a question, therefore negating the need for them to visit a particular landmark given in a clue. A team of NUCA fresher girls new to Norwich sat down at the beginning of the last AlleyCat and used Google search on their smart phones to gain 3 of the answers required and saved themselves about 2km of pedalling.
Surely this defeats the whole point - the pedalling is the fun part!

I suffer badly from Raynaud's so it would be great to find a pair of gloves which actually enable me to cycle any distance this winter.
I suffer from this as well and use Sealskinz Winter Cycle Gloves. I've found they don't stop the pain and numbness but they do stop the blood draining away and going white.
It is horrible and really painful when they come back to life. They usually go purple too.
I try not to put them under hot water as this can be even more painful.I swing them around in a circle which forces the blood back to the fingers.

As to my record, I'm buying a helmet this weekend. All the accidents stem from commuter traffic incidents. If I hadn't seen her I would be a stain. changing my shifts so I start and end earlier. No one gives a fuck at 9am or 5pm on thorpe road. Cut up to many times by cunts racing to red lights 100 yards ahead.
Hmmm, I commute in and out on that road every day (although 8am - 4pm) and it's generally not too bad at those times. I reckon that you'll see an improvement in traffic.

As I missed the Norwich 50, I'm planning to do this one: http://www.bike-events.com/Ride.aspx?id=274 if anyone fancies it?
