SOLD!
I'm selling this very nice Batavus Professional, with Columbus SLX tubing.
Seat tube: 58 cm c-t.
Top tube: 56 cm c-c
Rear width: 130 mm.All pictures can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/79082624@N08/albums/72157679177747715
I got this Batavus from the first owner, he ordered it in 1994. He didn't liked the colors that Batavus had in that time, so the paint job was done on his request by Batavus. So you won't find another Batavus in this color scheme!
The Professional serie was the most high end serie from Batavus. It's full made out of Columbus SLX tubing, Cinelli Microfusion lugs and bracket, and with Campagnolo ends. The engraved rear stay and brake bridge make it even more lovely.
The frame is still in a very good condition. It has got some spots, but nothing serious. The worst spots are underneath the downtube, but that's not in a visible place. I've pictured the worst spots in the picture album. The chrome is also in an overall good condition. The front fork does show some pitting, it's hard to photograph. The chrome on the rear stays is in a very good condition. It has always been conserved in a clear coat. I took most of the clear coat of, because it did let loose. Now it looks very shiny. Note: the frame comes without Shimano 600 headset. The Shimano bottom bracket still runs smooth.I would like SOLD! posted. Excluding paypal fee.

I'm selling this stunning Batavus Professional. It's from 1984 and still in a very good condition.Seat tube: 59 cm c-t
Top tube: 57 cm c-c
Rear width: 126 mmAll pictures can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/79082624@N08/albums/72157675381682573
Batavus had several series that they made. The Professional serie was the most high end serie from the dutch brand, a true competitor to the Gazelle Champion Mondial. Back in the days these bikes were racers. It's a very classic bike, it has the chrome, lovely pointy lugs and a nice white touch to it. The bike looks even a lot better in real life.
The bike is made out of Reynolds 531 Professional tubing except for the front fork. This tubing is a lighter serie of the Reynolds 531, with thinner drawn tubes. This tubeset became later the Reynolds 653 tubeset. The bike has Campagnolo rear and front ends.
The paint of the frame is still in a very good condition. I've pictured the worst spots, they can be found in the picture album. The frame has no dents or other structural damage. The chrome is also in a very good condition, especially the front fork. As shinny as it can get.
The bike comes with a full Shimano 600 EX groupset. The group is also in a very good condition. The hoods are a bit dry and do show some cracks. But the fact that they are still intact says pretty much about this group set. It comes with a Shimano 600 AX stem (yes, the hidden bolt one) and seatpost, which was common. It also has the original Shimano 600 EX pedals. The headset, hubs and bottom bracket still run very smooth. Only the bottom bracket does show some play. It should be fine when you adjust it a little. The saddle is a Selle Italia Turbo. I also have a brown Selle San Marco Rolls, if it fits better.I would like Sold! pounds posted excluding PayPal fee.

I'm selling this lovely Jan Janssen Max Prestige frame and fork. It's made out of Columbus max tubing, with a very unique paint job.All pictures can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/79082624@N08/albums/72157678859307956
Seat tube: 58,5 cm c-t
Top tube: 56,5 cm c-c
Rear width: 130 mm
Threads: ItalianJan Janssen was a dutch cyclist, he was the first dutch man to win the Tour de France. After his career as cyclist he began a new cycle brand, that he named after himself. This Max Prestige was the very best that Jan Janssen could offer in the 90's. I guess that this frame is made in italy.
The oval twisted Columbus Max tubes, with the fat fork and stays make a lovely but also very stiff frame. Combined with the paint job it's one of a kind. The frame is in an overall good condition. The only bad thing about this frame are the two tiny dents in the top tube. I've made some pictures of it, which can be found in the picture album. The frame also does show signs of wear. Worst spots can also be found in the picture album. The chrome is in a good condition. It has some spots, like the copper colored stain on the seat stay. Very hard to photograph. The chrome is still very shinny with no rust. Note: Frame and fork come without bottom bracket.

It's definitely 58 cm. Measured it, and it's also stamped in the BB.
