Rapha's 'explore technical t-shirt' make for a very smart running top. Wear them for all my runs bar racing or the hottest of days, both of which require a light singlet. Have avoided the 'trail' version as the cut looks odd. They're always in their sale, when Rapha has them. They're not not worth the full price!

I use an mp3 player with bluetooth and leave the phone at home
(admittedly i use it for audio books rather than music)https://www.westerndigital.com/en-gb/products/mp3-players/sandisk-clip-sport-plus#SDMX32-032G-E46K
It's a bit crap, but not so crap that I'd rather take my phone with me

Overall pleased with last year's effort. Started on 72kg and was hoping to get down to 60. Ended up on 67. Fair way off target but still 5kg down.
Anyway, a similarly ridiculous target for this year.Current weight 67.0 kg
Goal weight: 55 kgHoping 'Dry Jan' is going to mean a good couple of kg loss for the first month

Apologies for the boast post.
Broke my 10k pb by 4mins over the weekend. 38:59. Well pleased with this and wasn't expecting to go that fast. Pretty much all my running is at easy pace, try and get a couple of tempo runs in per week and strides. But apart from the strides, i've never touched this kind of pace in training.
Went into the race hoping for between 40 and 43 mins. Difficult to manage expectations when you don't train for a particular time. Conditions were pretty much perfect and the course was round Battersea Park, so pancake flat.
Next target is to (officially) better my 5k pb (20:01) before xmas. Once i've recovered, try and get 4-5 weeks solid volume and then parkrun it (probably Dulwich). Sub 19 would be nice. -

Not too sure about this thread name/title change. Where do we go to discuss non-food vegan topics. Seemed the old title was fine, specially as there is already a thread about vegan/vegetarian food. So now we have a vegan/plant based food thread and a vegan/veggie food thread. Great.
Anyway, 3 glasses of (vegan) wine deep and perhaps i should pipe down for fear of sounding like the exclusionary radical vegan that I am.

Wow, that's way full on!! These were super easy in comparison. Only one screw was an issue. The metal around the hex hole had rolled in, so had to use a needle file to widen the hole. There were then sparks breaking the seized screw, which was exciting
