At this moment I've got some parts from the previous build I'm going to reuse. Complete group isn't going to happen but i'm committed to doing full Campagnolo (apart from the wheels)..
So, Triomphe (80s?) pedals + clips
80’s Athena Crank. Dustcaps and BB also Campagnolo..
(Chorus / C-Record?) seatpost
2nd generation C-record delta brakes

Altough the Gilles Berthoud Soulor was quite comfortable, it's a little too non-period correct + a bit ugly. Will be on the look out for something more sporty from the 90s. Details on the thing are awesome though..
The Dura Ace 100mm stem that's on the frame now makes the stretch to the bars too long for me. Will probably use a shorter (hopefully DA) Shimano stem..

Found some photos from when i rode it fixed.
Frame deserves better for sure but I still like that build + it got me that nice FiR Super RIalto Grid 650c front wheel for €35.When I decided to do the sensible thing and give it gears I never thought doing Shamals, I needed a 700c rear FiR Super Rialto wheel/rim..

Frame geometry looks pretty much the same like the Concorde TT I have!

Never seen a Concorde rebranded in that way.
Love the paint job. I have a Concorde Mistral with a funky paint scheme. Makes the black of the TT frame look kind of dull. It's in good condition though. -

I've had this frame for years now. Rode it fixed for a couple of months, but after I finished my Reynolds 531 commuter I decided it deserved to be build up as it was supposed to be build up: geared and period correct(ish). Since then nothing happened much. Seeing über_grüber's project and Gaston FR's Ciocc made me realize I need this classic time trial stuff in my life. So i'm picking up where i left off...
How i bought it
Frame & fork
As much as i want to build this up as awesome as possible, budget is pretty low..
Will probably add nicer parts in the following months/years, but want to make it ridable first. -

Bike as it was for the last couple of weeks, easy bars, no cages, front brake...
Maybe i'll get some fenders (better ones that i had on last year.. fcking tie-wraps) to make it a proper winter bike.
Fixed up the lady-friend bike as well after a scooter drove her off the road, crashing her rear wheel.. -
No, was definitely ordering Microtex soft touch black, just wasn't the same though, and have now gone for SRAM supersuede gel tape that's alright.
The SRAM tape says SRAM though right? Got any pics of it taped? Too bad about the Fizik stuff... the grey or black ones would've looked ace. Might still try it out.

Still cold as fuck here in Amsterdam, but dry-ish. So no more need for winter accessories on my main bike.

Anyone had any sucess re-covering a concor? I think it might be difficult due to weird shape (esp at the back where the rails meet)
I wouldn't call it a successful re-covering but here's my first try:
aaand here's my second:

Fake leather. Waaay easier to glue to the seat, stretches nice and is thinner than the real leather i used before. Might do my drop bars with the (fake)leather i got left.

Drop-bars had to go... As this is my main bike now, i needed it to be a little more practical. So risers, cheap ones, with cheap grips. Because cheap is the new black. The 70 mm shimano stem is from my parts bin. Gave my back-up Concor a new cover. This time fake leather. It stretched way better than the real leather i used on the other one.
Also: Rain Tail. Yes, it works a bit. -
New Campagnolo bits!
8 speed shifters
and a box
