Just set my chain tension before a ride, cant be arsed to go to the shed so i use a small adjustable to loosen my wheel. Set it how i like it, do the nut back up fairly tight, but its a small wrench, and BANG.
Half the outer spacer/bearing nut shoots off in two.
bollocks! Never had that happen.
Hubs are planet x pista, and have otherwise been great.
I snapped a planet x lockring today! ye the nuts arent so great either

I'll try get some close up pics uploaded tonight. noticed a couple of scratches at the ends of the arms, and I used the wrong type of washers(open/spring washers) with the chainring bolts so theres a couple of marks on the back of the mounts, other then that its perfect and genuinely less than 10miles of use.

Im not sure if they sent mexican frames to europe. the list of frames effected doesnt mention the track models, also found a few people online who raced on them with no problems. 1 guy bought his frame from the mexican factory and used it for a few seasons. he still uses it now but on the road with brakes and mudguards!
Im more hopefull now. dont know if the bottom bracket lugs for the track frames make any difference.

hi again, its 24mm diameter, 200mm total length. I noticed some damage at the top, a 6mm split at the seam but the good news is its not alluminium so shouldnt be dangerous to use. I always presumed it was allu but just checked it with a magnet.
never had rust on it and its not chromed so it must be stainless steel. its pretty light too.

hi, ye I might be interested in sellling them.
I spent a few hours polishing them to a mirror shine. the 42T chainring is also polished. teeth are perfect, also have a 52T NOS, all 3 parts are Suginio Mighty Competition, cranks are 171mm in lenght.
have a Campagnolo Nuovo Record bb set, 111mm,english thread, both compatible
It's a real thing of beauty but Ive no use for it at the moment, good for a summer bike!
