There the only saddle I can use, and I now run one on each of my bikes. I find them to be extremely comfortable while offering great moveablitly. I have an all black R5, the saddle is in great shape, no scuffs or tears, but the paint on the rails has been partially removed (it was the first one I purchased and played around with the position quite a bit) would be happy to let it go for £40 - let me know if your interested @Knowone.

Hey Guys,
I've been really struggling to find a chainring/general track bag in stock in the UK. I'm starting to play around with gear ratios and bring tools with me to HH and a bag to keep it all in would make life so much easier, but I'm struggling to find one in the UK.
I've seen some great ones in the US and AUS like in the link below for instance but nothing in the UK.

Does anyone know where I can grab one or ask someone to make one for me?
Thanks in advance,
James.

Hey guys,
Does anyone have a hook they aren't using or planning on not using at Herne Hill? I recently paid for the use of bike storage only to find the container my bike was placed in was due to be scrapped. I'm worried I won't be able to obtain a new hook and subsequently struggle to make regular trips down to herne hill.
The guys over at HH are great and have told me if they can't source me another hook they will issue me a full refund - but without being able to leave my bike there I'm going to real struggle to attend regular sessions.
If someone does have one going spare please let me know.
Thanks in advance
James.

Yesterday I got the front traingle mitreing done (my arms feel twice as big hahah). Cut the tubes done to size, brazed the bottle cage bosses in to the DT and ST. Cut the head tube down to size, and drilled the holes to allow gas to leave while brazing. Also got some tacking and fillet brazing practice in at the end of the day

Cheers! @Ptown and it's the "classic" modern bike geometry. So nothing to weird or strange to work with

Started the course today!! Day 1 of 5 and I feel like I learnt loads already. Keeping it simple was a good idea, also going into it knowing my measurements really helped. There's two other chaps doing quite complicated builds. Byron the guy running the course had to spend a lot of time with them going over fit and why certain things wouldn't work. Which is fine, but choosing a simple design meant that I already had the front triangle (apart from tt) fitted to the jig after day one. So far the course has been great, really nice setting in rural Kent and the people running it at downland are extremely relaxed and nice people. Super excited to see this progress and can't wait to finish this project and get it on the road.
