Oh, this is just lovely! There’s lots of overlap between my list and @youramericanlover ‘s. I’ve had so many amazing experiences: my first forum ride to Cambridge, Flanders and the Prosecco ride led by @almac68 and Bernie, the Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday night ride clubs, Souths at the Coach and Horses, BToB and all its spin offs, overnight rides to Essex, Bath and (memorably) round the Isle of Wight with @Rodmunch and @middleofnowhere , @Oliver Schick for tempting me out of tagging retirement … the forum really is the friendliest place on the internet and in London (as long as you stay out of the football, politics and golf club threads).

Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell was beautiful and moving. I’ve also recently listened to. Dawn by Octavia E Butler - I found it incredibly challenging and made me very uncomfortable but in a mostly good way. Made me realise I’d probably slightly overdone it on the dystopian fiction this year.

This is hilarious. I had to wolf down a cereal bar while we visited various bits of ancient wall.

It was great fun. I think the format worked well. Or the ‘post x number of tags and then the others have to find them’ could be good for a bit of competition.

Ananichoola blue and white striped women’s jersey. It’s very soft cotton, well washed but lots of life in it. I think it’s a size L, but I’m a 10-12 and it is now tight on me, so I’d say it’s an 8-10 (I remember the sizing being ‘quirky’). Collect from NW5 or I might be able to make Norths for a drop off with a bit of notice.
