almost finished .......

just need to replace the shimano rear mech with simplex...or huret...something french at least. Oh, and replace the bars with non-grooved ones.......

How about a 54cm Paul Milnes

Just measured it with a micrometer.....think it'a a 26.0mm fitting as the internal diameter is no bigger than 26.4 Can't see any markings on it that give the size.

think I may have a 70mm 1A stem.....will have a look tonight.

I just bought this, its a Peugeot PRN 10/E or something like that from 1977. I plan on doing more longer rides with lots of hills o which my fixed wouldn't be the best thing for, this won't be converted as its pretty original and so I plan on keeping it that way. Current plans for it are to add some toeclips and some Gumwalled tyres like the ones on its original press release thingy that I can't understand as its all in french. Can't wait to pick it up on wednesday :)

finally managed to get an old peugeot.......
Question: were cinelli bars/stems ever fitted to peugeot races bikes (so I can justify removing the uncomfortable bars/stem and replace with comfortable 1A + giro's)

Too much on the back makes the back-end sway (tail wagging the dog!)
I swear by lowriders on the front...does make the steering sluggish, but makes it more relaxing to ride. As the weight is low down makes it very stable.
Not as good as a handlebar bag as you can't get stuff out on the move......but I'd rather see the front wheel as I'm riding......

i wear a helmet, but i make up for it by carrying scissors in my pockets.

it's solvent bath/wash where the solvent is pumped from through the nozzle and drains into the bottom (re-circulates) of the tank.... approx £40.
