Some cracking spots in Streatham last night. The man,the legend, that is Johnny Bolax (not even sure if he is ON HERE) but plenty know him and that ridonc set up he's got for a bike, then @Katie-Coo track standing like a boss near Pizza Express and finally @Bernie for the 1st time in a bloody age. Awesome stuff.

So IN for BMX Bandits. I think I saw it as a kid when BBC 1 used to show kids films on a Friday afternoon/after school slot - showing my age there!

I hope to do you proud bendix! Am going to recce one of your routes on Sunday and see how A-Road tastic it is!
As soon as I pin down a route @kati I'll confirm meeting point/time. It'll be somewhere SE'ly/New Cross-ish I reckon. Helpful, huh? ; ) Will be lovely to see you though :)
And @hoefla I'm rubbish at such things, but I'm sure someone will be able to upload garmin/strava stats afterwards to give you an idea of pace/distance?

Hmm. So just done day one of Stronglifts...there are only two of those rack things (as seen in French Touch's post above) and only three bars...as far as I could see, so actually being able to get a bar is going to be a challenge.
Do you think it's Stronglifts is do-able with hand weights. For some reason I thought there were way more bars in my gym. Bah! or bar...

Thanks everyone - this genuine fits pro stuff - in that it's clear and achieve able. Have really cut down on my big carb and pints habit but have developed a shocking sweet and chocolate habit of late so that's the next to target. Need to be a bit smarter/plan my eating too so going to see if I can get 140gr of protein in my day without resorting to shakes an' that.
The 5x5 strong lifts looks rayt easy to use too - complete with an app. Gonna get started on that this afternoon. I'll be ripped by next weekend, right??

My diet is less bad than it was but aware I've got some way to go - I started looking at macros but that made my head spin so simple info like "2 grams of protein per KG" is also helpful. Thank you!
So, are you saying 2gram per Kg per day? So, if I'm 71 kg I should be eating ~140gr of protein a day?
And thanks @well_is_it I have a core of jelly atm but I do notice when I actually engage what core muscles I've got I do make a bit more power/speed. And my thighs get knackered ridicously quickly when I'm at the BMX track so need more strength there.

Just to update I decided to cancel as I just wasn't feeling happy about the whole hoopla. Credit to KoH they had absolutely no issues with me cancelling - were very decent and refunded my deposit with no problems.
No just to find a new tattooist in Ldn...!
There's some properly nice stuff on here though - so good place to start!

Few interesting lumps, get to nice roads about 20 mins out of Catford once you're in Chislehurst. I reckon it's going to take about 2 and a half hours from/to Catford, hopefully we'll be a bit faster in a group, and hopefully I won't make as many wrong turns as I did this am!
Whose in then? Can people make 6pm at The Broadway Theatre in Catford? Or is that too early?
