I bought this lovely frame off goreggiego on the forum last weekend, it's a great frame but I was going to convert it to cyclocross, and instead I found a cyclo-specific frame.
It's got mudguard eyelets for anyone looking for a winter build, from the late 80's, 531c tubing - with 531 Forks. The frame is in very good condition with no dents, some very minor surface rust on the top tube, this will be hidden by the brake cable, gives you an indication as to how small it is.
The BB needs regreasing as a bit stiff but the headset is great.
I paid £140 but I'm asking £150 as I'll throw in a complete set of Gazelle decals, (just like on the bike but with letters in black) and also a complete set of 531 professional decals. Not a bad offer I think you'll find.
Paint job is absolutely fine for winter and will look great built up, then you could get a respray in the summer (£60 from Vaz finishes or even cheaper if you want powdercoat)
dibs then pm please. pick-up from Preston Park near Wembley (20 mins from Baker Street).

Hi all at lfgss
I'm looking for a 700c geared wheelset (front and rear), - 6, 7 or 8 speed, 126 (if I can space it out), or 130mm ideal rear spacing
willing to spend £60 - £120ish depending on quality
needs to be very good condition, it's for a (late eighties), cyclocross build so needs to be strong too.
For clinchers only, and if it comes with tyres thats a bonus
London pick up only please!

I've got a beauty - a 1966 Hetchins Vade Mecum Mark-1 straight stays. It's 21.5" c-t, clean newish British racing green and white barber pole paint job (paint job slightly amateurish).
Structurally sound 9/10 ebay buy but I think it's slightly too small for me - advert said 22"
It's a bit similar to the following link but mine has wild elaborate fork lugs. Lovely double crown, serial number etc.

Interested to trade with any decent cyclocross frame and forks or even whole bike (and could pay extra) vintage steel or even ALAN style. needs to be 22" or 22.5" would consider 23" ...
pics and more details upon request
Happy New Year to all!

Hi- beautiful Blue Riband. Sort of new to LFGSS and wondering if you would recommend the classifieds as a good forum to sell through? I am thinking of offering up my Hobbs 'Clubweight' refurbed to single speed- you seem to have a track record of succesful trading(and dome beautiful frames) Any guidance?
Hi might be interested in your Hobbs - any chance of some pics? cheers
Hi London
I've been teaching English in Mexico / painting all last year and staying at my brothers for the last month - the lump in the couch is starting to really get to me so...
Well I'm a painter have a look at www.josephlichy.com
and obviously a cyclist, looking for a North or possibly North East / East London houseshare- artist friendly house reasonably important, doesn't have to be a 'live/work space' though all empty factories considered :)
Oh yeah - I'm 33, I'm a guy
Cheers
