just out interest, how many of you know of a brakeless, clipless bike being stolen?
I don't think I've known of any. Straps and cages defo but not clipless.
Must be a pretty significant deterrent if their only option is to escape the scene on-foot or riding pretty slow. Unless of course they have decent fixed technique, which I doubt most of them have.

I haven't finished Deus Ex yet. I've been playing it, on and off, slowly, for the past 6 or 7 years. It is still the pinnacle for me, and i'm not really sure why.
I also cannot explain fully why Deus Ex was so disgustingly good but it left an impression on me 10 years later as one of the best games i've ever played.
The new Deus Ex : Human Revolution looks promising, although I personally hate the camera going third person in a first person game.

But you can't blame the people to be fair. Every single knife attack is publicized all over the news like kids are running around gutting people left right and centre.
And yes in our hearts most intelligent people know it be blatant fear mongering but when you are wrenched off your bike by a group of grubby youts in the middle of the night, the majority of people just think "fuck this they all have shivs!"
I commend those that choose the "fight" over "flight" but everyone's different...
On a lighter note - my mate had the best idea when surrounded by a gang all holding knives...

I'm clearly not twitchy enough to be a FPS kinda guy. I like them, but there is no way in hell I'm going multiplayer.
I'm playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 right now in the single player campaign. It mainly consists of 90 seconds of shouting, gunfire and 'Marlowe's down' followed by a loading screen. Rinse and repeat.
If you're not a twitch gamer Bad Company multiplayer is definitely for you. It's bullet detection and hitboxes are so wank it DEMANDS you get in a chopper and rain slow hellfire on people. You can be pretty cack handed and still feel like you're doing something worthwhile.

As for sizing, they really are a lot bigger than you'd expect. I'm 6'6" and ride a 63" Roll, 60cm VN MIstral, 61cm Koga Record Pro and a 56cm 464!

and non-sandbox games don't have you doing the same thing again and again? (FPS-shoot duck run shoot duck run, RPG- fight loot fight loot, Platformers- jump jump double jump) and there's peggle
But the thing about good non-sandbox games is that the single player experience ends when it should.
You could say Uncharted 2 is just jump jump shoot shoot but the masterfully paced experience built around the rock-solid mechanics is SO polished you struggle to put the controller down until the credits roll.

They are expensive but like what has been said before mdcc has one, and he know. He just knows.Yeah there are drilled or undrilled models.
The frame sizing seems slightly misleading tho as TT comes in at 58cm CC and ST 59cm C-T on their "56cm" model, or am I missing something?

^^ I feel the same way about all sandbox/open world games. However I feel Red Dead was the best so far purely because they are dealing with a much more sparse populated setting, so they can pour all their efforts into little pockets.
Still...it got old fast.

When my dad bought me my first computer - an Amiga 500 I played games on it from age 5-10 with the joystick upside down. Down was up, up was down. To jump forwards I had to pull it bottom-left. For this reason I couldn't play many arcade games and would shy away from the prospect when kids would have their birthday parties at the cinema/bowling alley.
For my first road bike I didn't know that the hoods were made to be rode on. So I spent nearly a year riding exclusively in the drops like a fucking donut.
