I have the beryl burner and it lasts around 25-30hours on a ‘wave’ mode, I think it’s called.
Really happy with it overall. Nice and bright (but not too much), good modes and easy button interface. Plus, magnets.
When you get it, there’s a little booklet with other mounting options including a saddle mount and I think a direct mount for saddle bags.
Drop them a line and ask, they’re pretty helpful! -

I'm building some Pacenti Brevet 700 rims onto Novatec hubs, but am having a bit of a problem getting the correct dish/tension on the rear.
Spokes are Sapim Laser (1.5mm Non-drive side), Sapim Race (1.8mm drive side). And the max kgf for the rims is 125.
As per Park's tension meter chart, I should be looking at a max tension of 22–23 on the drive side, and presumably no lower than ~60kgf / 11–12 on the tension meter for the NDS.
Thing is, I still need more dish (1–2mm) but don't want to go any higher on the DS, and the NDS is already too low.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm facing exactly this issue.
Are these the ones? And what length did you need?

How do most of you do your scans? Just got a few medium-res scans back from a lab that were a little… over-adjusted. Lots of blown out highlights, even though the detail is in the negative (I took a digital shot of the negative using an iPad as a backlight and there's much more tone and detail than the jpeg scan I got back).
Anyway, a few half-decent shots from the rolls I just got back:

Just got a few rolls back from a cycle trip through france/belguim/netherlands earlier in the year, but most came out underexposed. Really need to work out the metering more.
And one ridiculous one:
On a side note, are there any particular things people are thinking about/trying to capture when shooting?

Yeah, there's still no clear wording for this kind of practise though — it doesn't mention ending up at the same end place:
Using JavaScript to redirect users can be a legitimate practice. For example, if you redirect users to an internal page once they’re logged in, you can use JavaScript to do so. When examining JavaScript or other redirect methods to ensure your site adheres to our guidelines, consider the intent. Keep in mind that 301 redirects are best when moving your site, but you could use a JavaScript redirect for this purpose if you don’t have access to your website’s server.
Like cloaking, this practice is deceptive because it attempts to display different content to users and to Googlebot, and can take a visitor somewhere other than where they expected to go.
It seems more about what content you're directing them to, rather than which URL you're directing them to, which just depends on whether they deem ‘microcosm.app/out’ to be content or not.
Murky waters indeed.

Looking into it properly, it looks like Facebook do exactly this to protect users from spam/bad links. Link
They describe simply doing this (if you're using jQuery):
function linkShim($link) { var dest = $link.data('href'), via = $link.attr('href'); $link.on('mouseover', function() { this.href = dest; }).on('mousedown', function() { this.href = via; }); } $('a.external').each(function() { linkShim($(this)); });
Although, what you say about Google's penalisation for it sounds most likely correct — I can't find any decent/official word on it anywhere?
Hmmm...

I missed this the first time round, but could I suggest that the title attribute isn't the best place for this?
I know making the microcosm.app/out/ links is pretty damn important, but could you do a very similar thing to what Google does and hot-swap out the href attribute on hover/mousedown so that the usual pop-up in the bottom left is meaningful (showing 80% of the actual URL)?

If you do nothing else, make sure you go to this weird and wonderful little place called Het Velootje. It’s a bar/pub/café/whatever they call their drinking establishments over there, but really it’s just the weird owner’s garage filled with bicycle-related junk, where you sit at a table under candlelight and get strong beer handed to you without asking for it.
You're welcome!
Gotta do something useful while at work :)
