Between 8 and 10 last night some selfish prick crowbarred his letter box, reached in, opened the door and took the bike from the rack on the wall. His best build ever and our much loved conduit for weekend rides. I'm gutted - he must be fucked! Still at least some lowlife theiving scum is 50 quid better off this morning eh? Keep your peepers peeled forum! Let us know if you see it.

The stats: Deep Red 62cm Paletti Lightning (columbus aelle tubing). Campag Recors Groupset except Athena seatpost and stem. Criterium Ergo bars. Gipiemme Techno 416 Wheelset. New Selle Flite saddle.

I'll get some pics up of the brakes asap, they're in my studio. Also got a pair of super record levers, with a set of NOS hoods. No pics until tomorrow I'm afraid...

After a set of Athena or chorus monoplaner brakes F+R. Would be interested in paying cash or possible swap for a pair of really good condition super record callipers.

Was looking at the pics on my tiny Nokia phone, got home and realised the brakes haven't got the original brake pads. Afraid I retract my dibs, as £50 without the pads is a bit steep. Sorry about that.

I need a 29mm lock-ring for a gipiemme tecno 416 wheel. Apparently they were sold with the wheel-sets. campag 29mm is too deep so doesn't lock. Any help much appreciated as they're a beautiful set of wheels and I want them on my bike asap!
