This is my late grandad's Omega Seamaster. I inherited it when I was about 8 and I've never felt of age or deserving to wear it until now, maybe. I don't know much about them so any schooling for a novice like me would be welcome!?
Also, the strap has come off on one side, and the pin seems to be broken, plus the winder feels a little bit too precariously attached...
Does anyone know of a trusted place I can take it to get looked at? I'm a bit wary as a jeweler tried to nick an opal from my grandmother's ring once.

Does anybody know what time the jumble starts tomorrow?
they're usually at 9amish but the velodrome website says they coincide with major events and the omnium doesn't start until 13:00pm....
It's listed on the velodrome website and on campyoldy...
just need to know whether I have to get up early?!

Sheldon Brown has a page where he lists the required bb axles for a number of different cranksets.
T.A axles apparently have their own very similar but slightly different taper on them that places the cranks kind of in between where ISO & JIS would... long and short of it you can use either.
The table recommends 18mm with a TA bb such as the Axix Light.
Sheldon uses a 15mm Shimano JIS UN54 on his Hetchins with a double Cyclotouriste chainset. JIS axle doesn't bring the crank as far in thus a shorter axle is required. Apparently chainline is perfect and he can use all sprockets on the large ring.
I'm about to go with a UN55 15mm. If you're going triple it lists the equivalent lengths too, usually a couple of mm longer. But you have to be careful cause the crazy low Q factor design means if it's not perfect the crank arm could end up rubbing or hitting your front mech.

I'm looking to acquire a good quality, well made mixte frame to build up for my tall lady-friend. Although complete builds at a good price would interest us too! Looking to get her on a nice bike, been very patient thus far but had no luck and been looking for a while.
Needs to be 56-58cm thereortherabouts...
...& ideally of a lightweight steel, 531 equivalent or plus being the holy land of enjoyable riding that I'm trying to introduce her to. Apart from that not too fussy.
PM me if you have anything, Cheersmehdears!

Hey everyone, I Desperately need a 23MM T.A CRANK PULLER ASAP...
I'm going on a cycle tour for 2 weeks through the north of england this Saturday. Sourced 3 brand new replacement chainrings for my T.A Cyclotourist chain set, tried to get it off tonight. I need to get the totally knackered unusable ones off and found out I need the rarest of rarest tools.
I live in Pimlico and will be at Putney Cycles Thursday Friday, our workshop doesn't have the right tool and I'm supposed to be getting the train up there Saturday morning....
Does anybody have one in London that I could borrow. Need it by Friday daytime otherwise I'm right up the hoo har. will repay however possible for such a kind deed. Pm me if you can help,
Even a heads up on who or where I could locate one would be much appreciated.
Thanks so much!
