Baskets appear to be the aesthetic de jour. Baskets > backpack/courier bag etc. Probably not. It's a bit dog in a handbag. Throw a 12 can bargain pack of tuborg in there or 12 bottles of cider, without bungee cords (carry on) and even with It's going to handle like a bag of shopping on each end of the handle bar. ^ Had the same issue trying to use that bbb lockring/bb tool on my Miche, problem was that shaft protruding from the centre was causing issue with the tapers and not allowing the tool to go past a certain distance.
