Do the Absolute Black bolts and nuts differ in any way to bog standard singlespeed/1x ones from SRAM or Truativ? No spec on the AbsoluteBlack website sadly.

After some checking on the forum it seems any track bolt will do.

That seems to be a right faff. I'll keep my hackety bracketry a while and if stuff cracks I'll buy some blumels.

You can also bend the fender (according to J.P. Weigle, no cutting - not sure why tbh -)

Will check for stress points and add in washer on the seatstay bridge, I had one but forgot to put it on there again. Will have to buy a scrap of leather and punch out some washers for vibrations.

Cleaned up the bodge somewhat.

Specialized buttonhead torx screws, nylon nut and a concave washer from some old brake shoes as a distance.

Needed a fixture to fix the rear guard.
Flattened a P-clip, shortened it and re-drilled hole. Need to get another shorter bolt and washers instead of that nut.

Fenderline looks OK in the dark at least lol.

Excuse the absolute state that the garage is in.

Stretched out P-clip, shortened and drilled through. Bodge bodge bodge.

Need to hack a distance out for the top hole on the seatstay bridge so this aligns better.

Or any other bodges that could work?

Def glossy on mine. Matte would look very slick on this build.

They look very similar, but it looks like they have a matte finish? The Kinlins are shiny. I like those matte ones better tbh.

Been under the weather for the last few days and today I took a C-19 test and it was positive. Feeling OK, stuffy nose runny nose, sore throat but that has been it really. More time for tinkering and more time to fettle!

I had a Sequoia Elite before that suffered a cracked chainstay and I got an Expert on Warranty. Elite fork I got to keep.

How shit are these? They're peanuts and they fit the bill for what's needed as per @amey in that other thread..

A-C on the FACT fork is 402mm

Poison fork is 409mm as I think @psee stated in his build thread.

I think i'll go with the FACT a while longer.
