Sorry, did my post go over your head? Where did I say this was about "the troubles/the conflict/the invasion/the Gaelic resurgence"
Sorry, did my post refer exclusively to you? Did I not say that there was a discussion? However you have to admit that just about everything in Northern Ireland is tainted by "the troubles" in some way.

I have been given this bike which is a 4+. The rear triangle is cracked by the pivot which, since I started looking for one, appears to be quite common. The dilemma I have is I don't seem to be able to find a new one but I have been told of a local chap who can weld aluminium.
Ideally I would prefer a new rear triangle so - Can anyone give me an idea where I can get one? Evans failed at the first attempt.
If I go down the repair route - Does anyone have experience of such a repair and would it last or just move the weakness somewhere else? -

I don't know which thread it was in but it has been troubling me for a while .... Back in the summer(?) there was a gauntlet thrown down regarding someone's braking abability. They stated that they could stop quicker, with only a rear brake, than someone with a front or two brakes. This was to be decided by a "brake off" in Swinley Woods, I believe. Does anyone remember this and who won?

^^I've just paid for two tickets for my daughter and my sister-in-law to see those bellends next month and their mode of dress looks a bit like the forensic Tyvek suits we sometimes wear at crime scenes. I fear for the future.
