if you do want them off use a medium cut file and some emery cloth,anything else will leave a horrible mark on the frame

yeah well my dad borrowed his blow torch to a mate and hasn't got it back so i will try this instead.

blow torch seems fun so i will try that or i will get a tin of that elbow grease.

bought it for a tenner from a charity shop but im unsure what make it is the only sticker on it is a reynolds cr-mo sticker. so if anyone know what frame builder it could be please share. gonna hacksaw them off and use a file to give it a nice finish.

the man i bought it off said hadn't rode it in a while so i would just rather replace the whole tube. will do that tho if i get another puncture on the new tube. cheers

Bought an old triumph with it rod brakes still on it. The problem is i have got a flat on the front wheel but i cant get the wheel off because the brake is hooked around it. Just wondered if anyone knows how to get a wheel off with out having to reset the brake?
