I dont even know where to begin with some of the rediculously ignorant and contradictory comments from some people over the last two pages (at least) therefore i wont even bother going into it.
What i will say is that depressingly, it doesnt really matter your chosen method of transport (car or bike, etc) or how you choose to execute, there's always going to be some prick pissing it all up the wall for everyone else intentionally or un-intentionally, through narrow mindedness or stupidity, or such like -
- [and in keeping with the original question] 'Is it time to start calling out bad cyclists'? i would wonder if there is any point in bothering?
Now i would LIKE to think that devided opinions can be reasonably changed or a compromise can be reached but...
The world is in melt down and you cant stop it, so why not fuck with it?!
(for example)...doesnt exactly fill me with confidence, while questioning whether or not...
I don't think this was down to people intentionally riding like twats and thinking 'fuck em all' but more of a gentle ignorance.
...is actually true?
[sigh]

An old raleigh frame for £170+
i'm not here to make a profit admittedly but i just sold a perfectly conditioned Raleigh Clubman 531 reynolds full bike for £100 on here. Why?.. because i wanted to offer great value and i made the simple assumtion that most people on this forum tend to do their research.
...not that i mean to exasperate this thread further.

@ ChrisMGS/Avsmithy - no problem guys.
@ Happyhippo/JWB - i'm not at home right now so can't get measurements but will put up perhaps tonight or early tomorrow morning.. the wheels are 27's indeed, (knew there was something i missed out!) i'm not entirely sure what my inside leg size is but i'm about 5'10/11 and i could happily ride it, just the top tube was a bit snug to the nether regions when off the seat, which was potentially a bit worrying!!...
here's an old catalogue with some original specs

i'd like to stick to my guns here for the time being as i'd decided to set a reasonable asking price of
£115(price now £100)i'm based in camberwell/brixton if anyone wants to check it out..

1982 Raleigh Clubman 12 speed Tourer with Reynolds 531 for sale: SOLD
Very well kept for a bike of this age, very little wear besides the odd blemish, lovely decals and lugs, front mud guard apears to have been chewed a little at the back however(see photos). Rides smoothly, everything working great with all original components in good condition.
The bike was bought around 1982 only had one owner then found it's way to me. It's a great winter ride in my opinion however i'm selling because it's just too big sadly.
Thought i'd see if there's any interest here before i put it up on the bay.
