Just signed up, as I've decided to convert my Cotic BFe to single speed for the winter, and if i get on with it, I'll be keeping it that way. I'm having a few problems with the chain skipping as it comes up and over the cog. I'm thinking it's because of the chain not quite being tight enough, I've used a chain tensioner, but it's still not working. Without the tensioner i can't get the chain tight enough, as it's a vertical drop out frame.
Would a half link chain help?
Any advice would be amazing!
