I don't think that's right - HMRC imply otherwise.
However, there's also some stuff about holding shares for 3 years, and only being able to claim relief once the company has been trading for 4 months (or has spent 70% of the funds raised) ... not sure how that all works in practice.

Does anybody know what tape will match a brown spoon? I think one of the Fizik Microfibre ones will but there are a few different shades and choosing colours from computer screens isn't the easiest.
The brown honey microtex isn't too far off.
Not a perfect match, and you could easily be more picky than me.Oh, and Charge's own one was called U-Bend iirc ... the brown never seems to be in stock anywhere.

Bloke called Troy, accident happened around 5pm (I think) and he was in an ambulance about 20 minutes later.
He gave another bystander his partner's number but they weren't able to get through, so if anyone is looking for him, he's in hospital. Looked like he'll need stitches in his chin & elbow; nothing was obviously broken, but he went into shock pretty badly.
Police attended, took motorist's details etc. His bike (a Cube) looked undamaged except where the left-hand brake lever hit the floor - it's in the ambulance with him.
Not going to speculate about what happened since I didn't see it, but stay sharp if you're using that bus lane: north-bound motorists love waving traffic through across you there.

@ Simon, apologies again for the ruthlessly direct lead out to Farnborough. Next time I promise I'll take you the scenic route - featuring the actual M4 and the Terminal 5 runway, rather than just their feeder roads... ;)
No problem, you can never know too many ways to Heathrow - I had no idea it was so close, and with something approximating a reasonable bike route!
Strongly tempted to get myself one of those Garmins now ;D

I have to admit I find that odd. Admittedly, I grew up in Germany, but I thought stinging nettles were pretty ubiquitous everywhere in Europe.
I think Wei (did I get that right?) hails from more exotic climes than Northern Europe though.
There's not much to fear in the UK but itchy rashes tbh, with the possible exceptions of Lyme disease and Weil's disease. And the nettles really don't sting if they're cooked or blanched for eating :-)

DO NOT touch the plant right above the left water bottle, it gets your skin itchy and hurts like burning. I reached for the bottle and got hurt, I thought of taking a photo of it so that if I die of this at the end of day, at least I know what I die of XD
That's a stinging nettle FYI - definitely not fatal, and even edible (although cooking is recommended).

That was loads of fun and an excellent first TNRC so thanks, everyone, and it was lovely to meet you all. It's a shame I couldn't stick around after breakfast, but for some reason that extra 20 miles back to Devizes still seemed like a great idea.
Oh, and extra thanks to Mr. Munch for leading out to Farnborough!
I've got someone's (Simon?) lock to drop off in Hammersmith apparently. I'm only a mile or so away, so drop me a pm and i'll sort it out.
Cheers, pm coming.

Yeah that's fine. I'll stick my number in the private thread in a sec for anyone who might need it. I'll be leaving N4 at about 19:45. I'll wait outside Ladbroke Grove until 20:30 if anyone has posted on here before 19:45 or texted/phoned me between then and 20:30.
I'm hoping to just pootle over to ensure I don't delay anything or have to expend too much energy before we've even started! :)
OK, I'm making a last-minute switch to the riding out list, and coming to Ladbroke Grove. It's closer than Waterloo, anyway.
I'll be bringing an evo and a cable, btw.

I'm planning to be in Devizes on Sunday, and can't think of a nicer way to get there.
I'll come to Bath for breakfast, and probably follow the canal back again. Riding out as well would probably be pushing it!Deluxe TNRC Saturday 21st July 2012 to Bath
