Dibs the ladies frame. Currently nursing a knee ligament injury though so I could do with delaying the pick up for a week if that's not too much bother. If you need a quicker sale than that then can always do the payment bit and then pick up once it I am able to walk without looking like I have an egg up me bum and I'm trying not to break it.

Hello
Got a Peugeot problem and it goes like this. The frame has a braze-on for a front mech but not a normal one that sticks out of the frame, instead it is a tab that would take this front mech: http://www.velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=3E85051A-659B-4F33-98E5-9DCCD8933E53&Enum=113&AbsPos=0
Trying to find the exact model is proving impossible, which is good because it would probably cost a fortune. Does anyone know of a front mech that bolts on in the same way? I have tried a clamp-on but the braze-on tab gets in the way and the clamp won't close.
Aaargh....nightmare. Please help!
Thanks.

Thanks anyway! Really I am looking for someone who is confident they can get the damn thing off so that I can pay them to get me past this point and start installing new parts. Don't want to go to my LBS cos it is Condor and I can't bring myself to wheel the Falcon in there. Plus I know they would just tell me to junk it - and I'd agree!

Hello All
Another frustrated BB removal failure here. My girlfriend is VERY attached to her Falcon Sorrento ladies stepthrough due to the colour more than anything else. It has a loose BB that won't tighten up and won't come off. Turning the right way, soaked in WD 40, placed in vice, ruined various spanners, scraped knuckles, weeped, but not budged it a thousandth of a mm.
Anyone got bright ideas/dremel/welding gear? Ideally I would remove it and replace it with a non-cottered set-up but if it came off and just needed new ballbearings that would obviously save some wedge.
Cheers

Hi there,
Looking to renew an old bike with 126mm dropouts back to being a 12 speed. I need a rear wheel, with a 6-speed freewheel, or just the freewheel block, or even just a wheel with the thread for the block. Feel free to offer up just the hub if you have it - though I'm feeling pretty lazy about getting a wheel built and hoping to get this project onto the road asap.
Happy to stretch my rear stays out to 130mm but a 126mm hub would be ideal obviously.
Ta.
