So let me get this straight , the old bill blamed you for getting you bike nicked by parking your locked bicycle in a dark place opposite one of the most prestigious (and richest)colleges in Cambridge when there was a fun fair within a mile radius.
Maybe they should ban funfairs if they give them so much work , if they actually gave a flying fuck about bike thefts.
Sorry, must have given the wrong Impression with that one. I meant to say they mentioned the fair and said it was more than a coincidence that the friendly travellers were in town while they had a busy weekend with thefts. Not trying to provoke a argument, but I tend to agree.
The police were actualy more than helpful, checked the CCTV in the area as they could tell how hacked off I was!

hi all, recently had my fixie stolen whilst out in the evening in Cambridge. I had stupidly left it in a dark bit opposite Trinity College whilst the fair was in town (police tip off not my prejudice) ;)
Anyone know of good places that are more secure to park bikes in the evening when Grand Arcade is shut?
