interested in finding if anyone has one of these laying around unused and unloved? something smallish probably between 49-52 cm, ideally a complete bike, maybe with some bits needed doing to it? but if there is a lovely frame out there or some other bits i would consider it
steel frame, and step through, cool old racer or something with a bit of style?

for a friend who has just finished uni so doenst have huge amounts to throw at it (until she gets addicted and finds out how much fun bikes are), so prefer £100 or under, but wanting to get something thats half decent,

two excellent condition front wheels,

the first a h+son eero white unmachined rim laced with black spokes onto a black BLB high flange hub = 90 quid

the second a charge dish green machined rim laced with silver spokes onto high flange = 50 quid

both straight and true with no marks, neither would have been ridden more than 20 miles

trying to find one of the above, have an old track frame with small clearance and dont want to drill the hole wider, wondering if anyone has any ideas?

i have heard that you can get a new style rear brake and nut it from the inside, it doesnt sound too solid to me, but just wondering if anyone had tried it and if it worked?
