Doh
Well let's just say it's a good studio picture of a beautiful bike, which apart from the hammerite finish is in essence traditional in every aspect though expertly crafted (if you like tig welding; I prefer lugless or lugged soldering, but that's a personal thing).
Actually a pic of an Alberto Masi (not the Californian branch; possibly the tube over lug variety) or Ben Serotta steel frame (early nineties preferably) would be more attractive to me.
Again, that's just personal, but maybe someone could oblige. :-)

Even without rules, just having some taste and a little modesty would have stopped you posting that here.
Well, not to put you too brusquely in touch with the real world, but there are communities out there where people are not ticked off for showing some pride in what they have.
It's a matter of both good manners and taste, I suppose.

Hi folks.
Selling my Bianchi Pista Via Condotti 2010. Only a few months old. Size 56.
Really lovely bike but I've finished another build and am flat broke so I'm letting this go. It was used sparingly as a commuter bike and as such is in great condition.
Swapped the drops for risers and added a Goldfinger and new Oury's. Everything else stock.
Cost me £650 a couple of months ago. Would like somewhere in the region of £350-£400. I think this is reasonable.
Collection only from Ball's Pond Road N1. Would like to send this to a good home but time is of the essence so if it doesn't sell in the next couple of days it'll be eBay or Gumtree or something.
Thanks!
Really lovely bike; not a fan of those front forks though. Still, compliments and hope you sell it soon!

^ useful... if you speak dutch.

Useful thread that... :-)
Theye were actually quite well known in the '70's and '80's, and didn't make their own frames as far as I know. My brother might know who did; probably different Belgian and sometimes Italian framebuilders. Colnago used to hire framebuilders when demand was high and fire them when demand was low; then they sometimes did work for others, such as Cornelo. I'm not judging this frame at all (it looks good) but sometimes that sort of contractor work looked like rush jobs.

You see this type of fg/ss in Amsterdam; cheap Asian imports with components to match. I prefer the blokes that take the trouble to convert an old steel frameset (lots of those around here), whatever the esthetics of the outcome.
As usual, after a few years the market turns to cheap imitations of the original fad; there are a few shops here that have them at appr eur 500 apiece.
