@mdcc_tester that's a naaaaace bike you got there! Mines originally a custom build for Richmond cycles but they do look similar if not identical. Were those custom decals?

To be honest I know naff all about it other than they made the BMX in E.T. seems to be a fairly nice budget frame though.

I've been doing some exploring and the jury is out if the bosses will fit on a downtube shifter clamp stork. I didn't see a reason why not but people have been setting me straight left right and centre. But they should, shouldn't they?

Looking to convert my bike back to geared and am now hunting for the final bit of the puzzle.

I have been eyeing up some generic CNC cable stops from ebay but id like to source one that looks more like a lug than a massive shim.

Found a few in american land but they all have £40-50 shipping...

looking for something like the picture.

New to me kuwahara Ishiwata 022 56cm beaut that came fixed with all orginal 'jdm' shimano 105 parts.

I am currently slinging on modern 105 but neglected to source a downtube clamp cable stop.

My plan is to eventually source or build up some new wheels and slowly upgrade the bearings etc. Once completed I'll got for a respray.

Rather than purchasing a generic problem solver cable stop, does anyone have a period correct lug look clamp I can buy or no where I can? All the ones I find are £25 purchase and £45 shipping from trump land...

What else would you do it?

Hmm, well the frame cleaned up a bit better than I thought it would however where the previous rider peaked the decals the paintwork underneath has suffered. I am tempted to try and cover it up with a decal BUT they use non matching touchup paint. The areas they baddly touched up are a bit lumpy bumpy.

Needles to say, it is low on the list right now.

Broke my fork but didn't want to pay out for an upgrade so made a wank commuter.

It has 105 parts, tange 66s headset, mundial cranks, miche hubs on ç20 rims. All parts are original Japanese.

Struggling to find anything and everyone seems to point to a trek but I don't see it.

Tora and wheel are used the carbon fork has never been ridden but has managed to acquire a small scratch.

Items are in storage (my loft) right now so I'm fishing for interest and can provide pictures tomorrow.

Tora is used but not overly abused, had it since new and has been previously serviced.

Rear wheel has... well, seen better days. It's scruffy but it works. Got it second hand

Generic cheapo carbon fork is a bit heavier than expected.

Recently hit by a car that skipped a red so my old Raleigh (only bike) has been trashed!!!!

Front wheel/fork/saddle and stem are still good to go but I need a new frame with gears and gearing controls to rebuild. Cheap as possible, have made a few offers but have been out maneuvered.

Charity rides in a few week so would like to get a few miles in before it happens.
