Potentially interested in the 12-40. Where are you based?

I have just moved and found a small gas leak from a badly soldered pipe. I checked the Gas Safe register and found a plumber on my street, who came out this evening and soldered in a new joint. Because we are neighbours he was very relaxed about payment and told me to bring round whatever I like tomorrow evening - would anyone be able to suggest a fair price for this job? He was here an hour.

Hi everyone, sorry - I thought I had notifications set up for this page! It had been quiet for a while so I hadn't checked it and seen these replies, assuming it had sunk too many pages back.

The frameset is still available at £170, I have no idea if anyone who has replied is still interested but please let me know if you are!

To be clear, I bought this frameset on the forum for £160, but I have significantly upgraded the fork, hence the increased price. The increase in price is much less than the difference in value between the original and new fork, so the buyer of this frameset is getting a much better deal than I originally did when I bought it. I hope this explains the pricing - I think it is fair. I am not on this forum to make a profit; I have been a member for nearly 6 years and have been making regular donations for most of that time.

johnnettles2 - I don't know if it was you who I originally bought it from, or if it has changed hands in between.
