Ace Rourkie! Oh the day when my nipper can walk out onto Goodison head to toe in Blue
Was Webb his usual shite self?
To be fair he was very good, we've had some crap refs this season and last, he was very good, can only think of one thing that got our backs up. Unfairly he then got "We've got another shit ref!" chant, it was in jest mainly. If all refs performed like that week in week out it was be great, but they don't do they.

Surely all true potters support Port Vale. Stoke are only supported by glory hunting people from Surrey?
I'm 39 therefore I've endured utter rubbish for all my life to young to remember when we were good. Trips to Macclesfield, Grimsby, Oxford and on and on and on, If that makes me a glory hunter YIPPEE! I'm a gloryhunter!!!!!
The Vile comment was just below the belt though!!

First ever build - lots of it bought from here. + plenty to 36x18 for the wheelbuild, and wingedangel for the steady hands.

BLIMEY NICE WORK!
Doe's he want an apprenticeship!! Or shall I hunt him down and shoot him LOL.
Seriously. It just needs a pair chain stays putting in it, believe it or not that fantastic repair work won't have done it any damage to the rest of the frame.
1 pr of stays around £90 fitted and a respray and stickers around £100 depending on how flash.
The frame probably cracked due to being chromed and then not looked after.

Ah thats very cool, I've got an 853 Rourke track frame. I'll try and get some pics up later, would be interested to know if you built it!
Send me your frame number, are you the original owner?
wow, what a pleasure! I saw you and Brian on that bbc show about building the perfect bike. lovely work!
Thanks! :-)

love the wrap around seat stays on that rourke...just wondering how wide the bars would have to be on the bike to accomodate ali's hands...
I did meet him, not sure he met me though. I wasn't sure what to say as he didn't really acknowledge me, he was sitting down and I was stooping to his side I just put my hand on his and Said "Thank you for this." (even though I had primarily made it for his charity) but his had were huge!!!! He dropped his Oakleys too as I was walking behind him. AND I gave them back, they would have made a mint on Ebay too.
I saw on another thread a full bike made for the last pope - the proper one. Now The Greatest here. Elton John's run-around next. Lovely frame.
BLIMEY! Have you got a link?

It was suggested that a frambuilders thread is made, for us framebuilders to post our work, without the worry of putting it into Porn or Anti etc.
I'll also answer any questions you may have when I'm around. Particuarly if you want any to know any history on a Rourke frame you get hold of.I'll start with a frame I made for Muhammad Ali
It was made to give to Muhammad Ali from Stoke on Trent City Council to commemorate his visit to the City.
A bike was given as this is what got Ali into boxing, when his was stolen. Ali told the police officer that he wanted to teach the thief a lesson when he gets him. The officer said if you want to hit someone you had better learn how to do it, come to the local boxing gym, the rest is history. I have got a picture giving it to Ali but can't post it for legal reasons.

LOL, He asked me a genuine question, un-ban him quick there's a bit of work for me or I may sue you under the European anti trade restrictions. ;-)
