Anyone got any suggestions for relatively lightweight webbing for crossbody / musette style bags? I have an Apidura packable musette that uses 18mm width stuff that's perfect - plenty strong but also not so stiff that it easily packs down. Has the same angled weave as seatbelt, as opposed to the stiffer stuff that has 'lines' across the width.

Edit: just answered my own question, it's herringbone nylon tape. Any suggestions for stockists most appreciated.

So, at least a 1 in 20 chance of getting infected at an outdoor festival that had a (admittedly flawed) ‘test/vaccination for entry’ system. Seems crazy that the U.K. is only ‘recommending’ that nightclubs etc have a similar system.

Here in NL it was lifted completely two weeks ago (I think public transport is the only place it's still required), and we're already back to being stared at if you wear one in the supermarket.

I think in a few weeks NL is going to be a good example of not opening up rapidly.

Surprised they haven't called a referendum about mask wearing, seems to be the preferred way of making irreversible decisions these days.

My takeaway is that the lateral flow are almost worthless.

Meanwhile in Amsterdam last weekend they were letting people into nightclubs with just a negative lateral flow test.

NL have implemented a 'Test for entry' system for nightclubs etc, last weekend was the first weekend and it was completely overwhelmed / may have been hacked. Lots of people were left without results, so what did they do?

Just gave them negative results as 'compensation'...

Mask mandate lifted here in NL. Quite weird to see people in shops without masks, especially the mask-less guy sneezing into his hands in one place. Glad to see some people made no effort the last 18 months and don't intend to start now.

Were people generally ok after 24 hours of their first jab? Vaccination appt has unexpectedly come up the same week I'm planning on my first trip back to UK in 18 months... Wondering if can manage a flight the day after.
