Alas, Mountain Bikers and their insatiable thirst for full-face helmets won, and the art of All Terrain Bicycling was lost forever. Or was it?

When I came back to visit my family in U.K. I quarantined at my parents and they did not have to quarantine as well.

Really hoped that people wearing masks on public transport if they’re ill might be a positive hangover from the pandemic but the two people closest to me on this train are both clearly ill and relentlessly coughing, blowing their nose and wiping their snot with their hands. I guess Freedom Day really means the freedom to make other people sick.

Maybe the real plan is that in two weeks time, so many people will be self isolating that pubs, restaurants, clubs etc will be so short staffed that they’ll have to close in a pseudo-lockdown. Then they can argue that they still delivered Freedumb Day.
