it won't fetch what you're indicating because it just doesn't look right, sorry
Hmm, an unsarcastic Thankyou. No need to be sorry for honest opinion!
Apart from the cable which we'll take as a given, where have I gone wrong aesthetically?
Non-matching Shimano gruppo is undetectable at three feet? And saddle isn't period obv. but my favourite arse perch.
If yours, what would you itch to change? SRS question - my other bikes are all contemporary (or silly Frankenbike engineering exercises) pretty retrobike building isn't my forte.

All NOS or brand new
57cm GT frame
Bars and stem Cinelli
Arione saddle
Prologis cork tape
DuraAce shifters, Sora front mech, Tiagra rear.
Specialised Turbo S tyres on Mavic rims laced or Shimano hubs
105 cassette and chain
Jagwire cable set
Exage brakes with Shimano pads
Not turned a wheel off the build bench - immaculateBuilt up because it's so fucking pretty, but eight bikes in the stable...... Is 450 a silly ask?

Hi guys,
Having read down to the bottom of a thread it would be really nice if there were a button at the bottom to return to the forum, rather than having to scroll all the way back up to the top to do it.
Not an issue when I'm iPhone browsing as it's just a tap to the top of the screen; just a micro-annoyance when I'm using the laptop.
Not any kind of a biggie, just would be nice.

I also have no implicit issues with advertising per se (I recognise it as the grease on the wheels) as long as it isn't invasive. The pay-per was just an economic query to one who would presumeably have done the mathematics.
The third party selling bit is however (IMHO) evil, up there with ambulance staff and police selling details to no-win-no-fee shysters.

My inventory by the way is a mix of Global and Sabatier in the kitchen, Laguiole Rossignol steak knives (rosewood handles), Ken Onion speedsafe folder and field knife, a Leatherman wave and a couple of Victorinox swiss army knives.
I really hanker for something from Bob Dozier though - something with a mammoth ivory handle..... Problem is you then end up with a knife that you'd treat as art rather than a tool.... I don't know if I could justify that.

For sharpening I use a Crock Stik - company went bust years ago, but there are similar things out there.
Basically it's a wooden base with four holes drilled into it and four ceramic sticks, two coarse and two fine.
Hole set one is sets sticks at a 20 degree angle sticking up for thinning. Run the blade vertically down each side whilst drawing it across.
Hole set two sets the sticks at a 25 degree angle to put on a cutting edge.
Almost skill free, but will put a shaving edge on a cow pat.
I know that people like different angles for different uses, but for utility / kitchen / field knives I've yet to find something so simple yet so effective. I even have a mini version where the rods fit into the base for taking with me into the field.
A blunt knife is a crap tool - and makes you way more likely to cut yourself.

Nothing exemplifies the decline of this nation like the decline of proper pubs and the endless encroachment of wankhouses such as Tesco, Asda and the like.
Asda, don't get me started on that purveyor of shite to the unwashed and ugly.
Saw this in there yesterday when shooting in for milk (as much as I hate the place it is convenient for basics).
Can you believe this? Cheese for people too fucking stupid to cut cheese into cubes?

@ Dynamical
It's made by a spanish company called Jeronimo.
Frame shaping is quirky absolutely - totally personal but I love it.
Disc brakes? Well I run a single Dura-Ace on my current bike, but I'm a motorcyclist (and an engineer) and taking your braking surface as far away as possible from the sh1t makes a hell of a lot of sense to me.
It's Ti so I guess the integrated seat tube should be quite compliant. Comfy ride rather than a ball rattler.
Belt tensioning is a p o p, I ride a District based fixie and it would take a lot to convince me to move back to chain.
Clearances etc? Don't know, just love the look. For the sort of commuter hammering I do I can't imagine that track geometry would make that much difference.
As with everything it's personal aesthetics - I just like this, don't know why but I do.

Thanks dude!
Exhausts are actually standard - I slash cut them through the baffles. One of my cutomers did the chroming on the tank for me for free.
Even the tail section is a reworkked standard part.
Entire bike owes me less than a grand (unless I charged my labour hours in which case a porsche would be cheaper :-) )
The spunk has flown
