Only spent a long weekend there, most of that time spent drinking in bars. From what I do remember, there's a big Napoleonic fortress, lots of nice (familiar) red brick, terraced streets and a big market on Sundays in a square near the Algerian quarter. Get a whole roasted chicken there and beer in the morning, nurse that hangover.
