I guess this is the official collarbone thread!
Came off a few days ago, fractured my wrist and broke my left clavicle in two places (turns out i had a previous fracture from February, that my walk-in clinic failed to notice) so it now resembles this
'--/ \ ---' (imagination required).
Scanned the thread but didn't notice anything on 'bone grafts' which was the surgeons first suggestion, anyone have any experience with that?
They'll obv. lay out all the options at my next appointment, though I'm wondering if i should go for the simple 'let it fuse in a fucked up shape' or bring out bob the builder's kit and get all stitched up.I seem to get the impression that people who didn't have surgery still suffer minor pains a few years on?
thanks

I couldn't help laughing when I saw he guy in the full Hi-viz and full face helmet
Probably Mr. Kunt on his way to a gig.
NSFW would probably be a little irrelevant

Got a Claud Butler Sovereign tourer off Hilary Stone a few weeks ago, lovely bike & great condition, though being a short arse that I am, It's a little too big for me.
CLAUD BUTLER SOVEREIGN TOURING BIKE Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 plain gauge
This is a rather nice Claud Butler light tourer from the middle to late 80s – it has braze-ons for a rear rack. Equipment includes Suntour ARX gears, Maillard hubs on Mavic MA2 rims, SR stem and engraved bars and Lyotard 460D pedals. Ready to ride. £135 -

Rather than come to my friend's aid, this guys logic was to take his phone out, raise it above his head to keep it dry, then jump in the canal, to keep himself safe from the muggers. Once my pal was finished with being mugged, the guy in the canal asked for help to get out, which was politely declined.
I can't even begin to imagine the thought process behind that!

I'd take it, if I could ride away on it.
