its a falcon made merckx, so nothing particularly special, not too heavy though. sandblasted, braze ons removed, left raw and oiled. built up with bits and bobs i had.

well i dont want track drops or anything like that, something for riding round town. maybe some flats/risers or road drops. i dont get why anyone rides track drops in the city!

ive just gotten hold of a raw sandblasted frame, nothing too special about it, i initially planned to paint it but up close i just love being able to see the brazing and stuff... question is do you think the linseed oil approach would work over the winter or during the rain? i really want to leave it raw but is it gonna be loads of work? im not fussed about a little bit of rust i just want to keep it at bay so it doesn't get structurally dangerous! any thoughts?

if youl post to bristol i will buy it for 50 quid+postage :)

went and striped the threads on the fixed side of my hub, so im looking for a new fixed hub! nothing too bling just something that works.

Im looking for a track frame of road frame with horizontal dropouts. about 56cm but il take something a little bigger or smaller. Condition isnt to big an issue, bit of rust is not a problem as it should deter thieves! as far as cost is concerned cheaper is better. Not fussed about frame material or weight, old battered and cheap will so the job.
