Thanks, yes I sold the black 40, it was too small for me. V2 is now more beater with cromo cranks 42-19 gearing etc., used for polo.

Finally found a 46 gangsta frame. Original orange fork wasn't in great condition so I used a black fork which I had. I'm going to fix the fork and try the original orange setup.

I'm riding with it now, there are some pics in current projects thread. It's good size, just that the seatpost is pretty high - more a visual thing. Anyways, I'm looking for a 46 and if I find it, then I sell this one.

heh, I read the other thread and laughed. Yeah took some parts from my old ride and that was the only saddle that I had - wanted to take the bike out for a spin.

Hi, this was on the other thread so here is the story. This is the frame that I tried to trade here. I bought a 46cm medium matt black gangsta from craigslist LA. I turned out to be horribly rattle canned (over BB and headset) 40cm small. I was really pissed off and tried to contact the seller, but he never replied back. I had used the dispute earlier, when he didn't send the frame after I paid it. I was stupid and closed the dispute and you can't open it again. So here is the starting point:

Good thing is that gangstas geometry has about the same effective length in 40 and 46. So I decided to get it sandblasted and powder coated. I also got original decals from a friend.

So here is the build, finished today. Great to ride, still not sure about the looks - long seatpost makes it mtb-like. If I'm gonna keep it I'll use it for polo and "fun"-bike and the post can be lowered - this setup is for commute.

Yep, I probably could post it without paying, but I would anyways lose the 150€ that I already paid for the customs.

So yeah, I know this is a long shot but here goes.

I recently bought a gangsta from LA and got it last Friday. It was supposed to be a 46cm but it turned out to be 40cm. On top of that it was rattle canned black. I'm going to get it powder coated and I'll also get the original decals. So if anyone is looking to trade, it'll be in top condition. Canceling the deal is a bit tricky since I paid the customs etc. so if I can't get it traded I'll keep it as a polo bike or sell it, but yeah thats the story.

Thought I link this here. When I was looking for V1 and started to consider V2 and the size between S and L; I did this. Comparing 46cm V1 to L size V2. V1 with outlines and V2 with grey color.

Back in production; I have V2 with original fork, it's great. Some pics from the setup:

Yep, Ellipse wheels. I didn't actually pay much attention to clusterfork and can't say about the weight difference; the original fork is so much better looking!

Thanks, yeah I wanted a robust bike for all riding; but this would make a great big bmx style bike too. In my opinion that's great about gangsta, it allows quite different setups.

Posted some pictures of my bike few weeks ago. Now I finally got rid of the riser, replaced it with a shorter stem and bullhorn.
