On reflection, I think it was a program on road safety that got sexy a title an trailer in order to get people to watch; because road safety is perceived as about as much fun as root canal work, it was sort of needed if not that of an honesty approach. Jus like the modern BBC.
Once you got past the fisty cuffs it became quite watchable.

Openin hours. I'd like a shop that is open when I can get to it, ie before an after work and Sat an Sun. 9-5 Mon-Sat. with no repairs on a Sat ain't goin to cut it any more ! We're all floggin ourselfs to death to pay the rent. So please be fully open, inc the workshop at 8pm, bet it would build a good customer base.
On or very near to a Cycle Super Highway to catch passin trade.
A big sign in the window sayin
New tube puncher repair ( inc. an economy tube) £10.
That'll get peeps in, then have them stand next to the lovley shinny accessories you have to temp them, as the puncher is fixed on the spot. And if they ask for a deluxe tube, charge £20.

A Carlton Reynolds 531c double butted frame burgundy with cream head tube and 531 full chrome forks with a Shimano head set and an unusual "nutted" Tange 108mm bottom bracket.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/76572016@N08/
22.5 inches (57cm) C to C both seat tube and top tube
The serial number indicates it was made in the Carlton Worksop factory in 1980. It is in perfect working order, all the bearings run smooth, threads good. It takes 700c wheels and has allen key brakes, long Campagnolo drop outs which are 126 mm apart. I recently had it running as a bike recently and am only selling because I've up-graded.
It's all straight, no dents or dings or rust as far as I can see.THE exception to this being the front forks, the chrome on undersides of the legs and on top of the crowns are corroded and the copper / steel under the plating is showing through. I'm sure this doesn't affect it's safety. There are also some paint chips and paint retouching in not quite the same colour, in various places on the frame. All the usual wear and tear you would expect from a 30 year old frame. Patina of age ?
Really is a lovely old British steel frame that still rides beautifully.
£80 collected from Whitechaple, E1 Dibs an PM pleease
Thanx .
With Rapha Sky supporters shirts costing £40/45, about the same price as a premiership clubs replica shirt, could this be the point at which Rapha becomes the new Burberry ?
So in the future might it be.....Rapha nice but a bit chavey ?
