Re. netball - there was and is no agreement between PH and anyone else regarding use of the external courts. Dale's view is that we were manipulated by the netball organiser into believing they had a right or booking of the courts and went on to say that they do not have a key. His interpretation is that they saw we had a key and only when we had opened the court would they then come along and imply they had a booking arrangement. He cited long running political issues between the netball group and PH - none of which should concern us. We can choose any regular night we prefer from henceforth.

My old tyres were 1.25 front, 1.75 rear. Now switched to Kojak 1.35s, I don't think a 1.5 limit would be a problem. Probably need to consider tyre size vs trail though.

The stuff I mentioned is maintenance they should be doing for their own benefit to make sure the tarmac doesn't break up prematurely. The broken light they should have dealt with months ago.

I expect most of the gearing listed doesn't take account of tyre size either, "26" wheels are only 26 inches with 2 inch tyres.

Indeed, but I think if you took off the guards, lights and saddlebag and posed it in a hipster sunset pose, it'd look moderately pornworthy. Shame about the pedals though.

it's a pretty tight fit, and I haven't got the spacers to load it using the star nut (also not fitted yet).

how would you like it?

Shallower rims, probably silver. The expanse of black is far too bulky for the frame.
Smooth bend drops, probably Cinelli. If you must have horns, smooth ones to match the frame.
Saddle you can sit on for more than 5 minutes without loosing all feelings down below.

Does anyone have tools for pressing headset races into frames? Trying to fit an integrated headset into the commuter I'm building and I don't want to hit it too hard with a hammer. Also need to work out how to get the crown race all the way down the steerer as there's a slight step where I think it's meant to sit.

Also, if anyone sees an abandonned Carrera, nick the replacable derailleur hanger for me, the ebay barsteward kept it!
