Got a problem with an XT display/junction-A I think.
Bought a new battery a few months ago (see this thread, passim) and if I leave the bike for a week or so, the battery drains to empty.
Connections:
Pave shifter -> Display
Display -> BTC-1 case (inc a "junction-B" style passive 6-port) contains cylindrical battery
Case -> RD-6870
Drain doesn't seem to happen when I unplug the display -> case cable at the display end. Still got the 5-port I had before the display, so I could try leaving that connected for a week, then re-connecting the display for its lovely indication of battery status...
Gah, this worked so well when I left it alone (except when my previous battery died, before I switched from 6-port to display).

For the MTB jersey, could we have some idea of the actual dimensions, since the sizing guide doesn't mention them? I've got an IFHT "VHS" top made by LRGA to compare with.
Most useful would probably be (laid flat) width across chest, length from rear collar to tail, arm length from pit to sleeve?

For the internal, just take the square corner and see if it'll touch the opposing sides.
For the external, put it in a square inner corner and see if the contact points of the taper hit the measuring device the same distance from the apex. For 36 degrees, one distance will be about 3/4 of the other.

Clearance to the chainstay yoke and seatstay bridge are only enough for 650b x 2.2", maybe 2.3, don't have any assembled 650b wheels handy (although I do have some carbon 650b rims waiting for unspecified project). Also, I'd need a different fork.
I need to remeasure but I think the seatstay bridge is a few mm closer to the axle than the top of the yoke. Might fit a 700x35mm cx tyre with mud clearance.

Bought a Jack Flash "25 year anniversary" raw 26er for £99.99+P&P=£115.

(also available with paint, for £199.99)
It's been a long time coming but the day has finally arrived for Jumping Jack Flash to jump again!!
The Planet X Jack Flash is so deeply entrenched in the history of both the company, and the underground dirt jump community that you'll struggle to find someone who didn't own one, or knew someone who did. In fact, we know there's still plenty of the original model still jumping today!
Rock solid build with retro looks, square stays, external cable routing and rear disc mount mounts. We've updated the headtube to take a tapered steerer but other than that it's still an unashamedly retro 26" wheeled dirt jump bike.
Raid the shed and refresh your old 26er. Pub,Street or Jump bike the Jack Flash is the Jack of all trades.
A Head Angle (degrees) 69.0
B Head Tube (mm) 130
D Seat Tube Angle (degrees) 73.0
E Seat Tube C-T Actual (mm) 394
F Chainstays (mm) 425
G BB Drop (mm) 28
K Front Centre (mm) 683.7
L Fork Length(mm) 453
M Fork Offset (mm) 42
O Wheelbase (mm) 1107.2- Reach 435mm
- Effective Top Tube 605.4mm
Spec that's not listed:
Mine weights 2286g (5.0lb) inc replaceable hanger.
I calculate the stack to be 557mm.
Seat tube ID measures 27.4 by my calipers, probably reamed for a 27.2 post. OD 31.9mm so a 31.8mm collar is probably right.
Headtube is 44/56 for traditional or semi-integrated cups, so in codes you want ZS44/28.6 upper and ZS56/39.8 lower. Hope Type 2 and Type E.
The fork length is listed as 453mm. This seems equivalent to a 130mm fork at 25% sag (based on my Sektor RL with lost stickers being 485mm). For 2.4" tyres, 61mm tall above the bead, the head angle will hit 73.9 degrees at bottom out, trail 55mm. Unloaded, 67.5 degrees, 96mm trail. At listed fork length, 86mm trail.
- Reach 435mm

These are probably Andel too:

I'd assume you can only edit it before the recipient had read it for the first time.
A question for @Velocio unless you want to review the source code.

What the website says now:
Due to the very high influx of work we can no longer take any re-spray, chrome plating or frame alteration until further notice. We are working round the clock to be able to re-start normal service. This banner will be removed when we can accommodate more work.
Thank you for your patienceSo... Closing or not closing?
Their own-brand product seems to have fallen in between the cracks, too expensive for OTP but too constrained for boutique and not taking financial advantage of the creative freedom offered by in-house production.
After Bob's passing 20 years ago, has the company been competing in the wrong market?
I've never used BT with it, but the previous owner may have. I'll connect it up to the computer tomorrow and see what settings I can see.
