I’m quite tempted by a cheap commuter, with mudguards, a rack etc. Quite a departure from commuting on a Cannondale Caad 8.. I think I’m realising that I’d have a nicer time on a more relaxed ride.

I’m also tempted to try an electric bike, or maybe build my own if I find a nice cheap basis..
