something like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/135312661675 or https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335645431355 ? I hadn't considered ipad not ideologically opposed to apple, though all devices and current app purchases android, also aware the di2 programme windows only, which was a tick in the laptop pros. Are they particularly better for zwift than an android tablet of similar spec.
Do use an ipad for for route planning (with a bluetooth mouse?). My limited understanding was that some plugins/implementations of browsers other than safari a bit oddly done on apple.

My 5 yo android tablet is struggling with Zwift (had to delete a lot to install as it can only go on internal storage).
My work laptop is locked down.
This presents a use case for for zwift, using with komoot/squadrats plugin for route plotting and any other random plugins etc I cant get on my work laptop. This would also allow the tablet to revert to a few more years of child focused usage. For such a self-indulgent use case I would ideally only spend £2-400.
Would a chromebook do this fine (particularly surprise by how hefty in terms of resources zwift seems) or would a cheap/refurbed laptop be a better bet. It can/will be plugged in so happy to prioritise screen size over battery.

It is from memory a legal and general provided scheme, so on some level the fee free is genuine compared to if you had a legal and general sipp you set up yourself. I used it for convenience to top up beyond the uss dB scheme and have actually had decent enough returns on some of the admittedly limited fund selections to continue to keep it open having left the job/uss scheme.

Can still be weed pollen season, I tend to have to take tablets at the beginning of Summer, then often a gap in ~Autumn, then often late Summer-nowish (though am managing without this year) hayfever is I think a coverall term, I dont think most people are allergic to all pollens and think fungal spores can also cause similar symptoms, with again variable timings for when this might be bad.

Yes, didn't really get better by not running, got pain free but would immediately flare up when I tried to run. Only got better when I did couch to 5k style very gradual volume build up, eg walk 1 min run 1 min 15 min initial 'runs'. Took 3-6 months of build up to be back to 5k+ runs without it just flaring up. Over 1 year on can still tell it's weaker on that side of I try things like adductor side planks which I think would also help but don't manage to do often (also try and climb/run).

Speaking as a climber.
Could go for chinese medicine balls (metal/stone)
Finger rolls https://stevenlow.org/finger-rolls-for-climbing-hand-strength-and-hangboard/
Also could consider using elastic bands (or even light theraband) which you likely already have where you can to extensor (wrap round fingers and spread apart) or contractor work (hold in other and and do curls).
Could look up the rice bucket method which I've never tried but some seem to rate for conditioning hands. -
i am just bitter as my son semi-refuses to watch either hey duggee or bluey in favour of multiple repeats of inferior programmes, this https://miniforce.fandom.com/wiki/Miniforce:_Super_Dinosaur_Power dubbed korean offering on netflix being perhaps the most wtf of them, woodland animals transform into people (dino rangers), then summon super dinosaurs, which can combine, to fight 'enemies' which include giant slices of bread
"The peace in Blue City is disturbed by the new villain, the Captain Powerman! This grumpy yet genius villain transforms mistreated daily objects into monsters and starts to harass the citizens. While considering himself as the best and true hero in the world and others as the villains, Powerman also has a peculiar value where he tries to “take revenge of dumplings” and “save shoes from stinky-suffering.”

i feel more/less spaced on some of them, though difficult to distinguish what is the anti-histamine and what the hayfever.
much improved since switching to fexofenadine, I dont know anyone who has tried fexofenadine and gone back to one of the others, it seems better all round (although a little more expensive). I occasionally supplement with a cetirizine (probably not medically recommended). -

Of course, my laziness. I do remember an Alex Dowsett video where he suggested part of his allegiance for Bont shoes was the low stack height of the shoe (eg thickness from cleat to sole of foot) giving an aero benefit for just such a fit change and this a similar key benefit of the Adam Hansen home made ones.
Perhaps with the trend for having tufts of hair protruding through you aero helmet those 0.5mm have become of increased significance. -

Do you have a feeling for how good/bad for the environment the nikwax analogy stuff is, a la paramo. It is quite warm and heavy (so you sort of need to wear only if not going to be taking it off) but when commuting I found it great (also for breathability) and also for winter walking/mountaineering. But not clear if anyone has ever tried making technical cycling clothing with it. Suspect lack of stretch a problem?

I have one of these (Patagonia storm 10) near new in size small (green) that I am going to sell as doesn't quite fit me.if interested?
Apologies actually the slate sky https://eu.patagonia.com/gb/en/product/mens-slate-sky-waterproof-rain-jacket/85020.html but may still be of interest to you
Not going to help me plot routes though with the squadrats plugin, also not super portable. My dad uses apple TV for zwift and finds the apple TV app super unresponsive. I think I will go for a refurbed laptop as suspect this gives the most flexibility.
