Unless you are putting the bolts all the way through suspect something with screws would be better as to my understanding the bolts work through expansion, glue and the torquing action of the bolt hanger.and I don't think the best mechanism for wood. When bolts used in indoor climbing walls they are screwed into a (m10?) T-nut installed through the board. Would agree that this is not likely to be the weak point of the system as long as reasonable screws are used.

In case anyone finds my previous comment the diagnosis from hand therapist was/is early stage trigger finger. Exercises/manipulation/massage seem to be making an impact now just need to persuade him to take it a bit easier. Suspect heavy digging etc at allotment more of a contributing factor than bike.

My dad (71) is experiencing pain on both index fingers and swelling on base of index fingers . And some pain on inside of thumb, he's getting messed around a bit with drs, suggestions of rheumatoid arthritis, physio suggested a ligament issue but it's not been getting better and he's pretty low due to impact on cycling/life.
Anyone experience of anything similar?

Sorry to hear about your dad.
In any interim period your mum might want to consider using premium bonds or similar ns&I products which are guaranteed beyond normal savings https://www.nsandi.com/get-to-know-us/security/protect-your-money
As a way not to have money sitting in her account and indeed generating some risk free return.Depending on her situation she might also want to consider topping up/investing in a pension product some of which could be very low risk.
Money saving expert always great for parent reassurance (in my experience). A good starting point also to base some finance/internet literacy discussions also, including having some key details written down and also reassurance that you are happy to help her understand stuff. -

WFH and just upgraded my WiFi, on checking speeds hoping a tech minded person on this thread can explain how/what have my work done to the (work) computer/network to confuse the tests on the upload speeds, I either get nothing reported of speeds beyond the physical capabilities of the kit/physics? I would have thought these tests were fairly simple based on timing test packets?

I have an earlier version and you can unscrew and change the dipped lens around for upside down mounting. I like that it uses an 18640 batter so you can have some spare/put in a new one if battery degrades.
Having just read review it seems the earlier versions v1 or v2 may have better beam profile for you? I think they are still available. I use the v1 with the new ald10? GoPro mount adapter

Our loft is well insulated among the rafters then boarded out. Anyone able to comment on whether it is worth the additional cost/effort of insulating the underside of the roof. Tondo correctly looks somewhat non trivial/potentially fraught eg the cold roof approach described in https://www.ecotherm.co.uk/educate/blogs/how-to-insulate-a-room-in-the-roof

It's a sportpursuit house/owned brand along with several of the others they sell, see https://northlanegroup.com/
As such/my experience of the isobaa stuff, no better/probably a bigger mark up than buying direct from AliExpress. The rrps in particular are obviously fictional. I don't dislike sportpursuit but stick to 'real' brands.
