If you're racing or training hard the cross jersey is good with a merino or cold weather base layer down to about 3-5C for at least an hour but I wouldn't wear mine on a club run.

Cross jersey isn't warm, it's made from the same fabric as lightweight jersey.

Yes should be racing Wessex, the course isnt too technical. The steep banks should be fun after all the rain.
